Barbara Lin, R.TCMP, R.Ac

Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist

Barbara is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCMP) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.  Raised with Traditional Chinese Medicine as an integral part of health in daily life, she was profoundly inspired by her grandmother’s practices. Barbara considers it an honour and a privilege to be able to share Chinese medicine with others, and is dedicated to assisting clients with their natural ability to heal.

Barbara’s focus is on enhancing women’s health. She addresses concerns ranging from pain management and sleep irregularities to digestive issues and menopause-related transformation. She supports those wishing to optimize fertility and holds a firm belief in holistic practices to prevent illness and minimize stress.

With a deep interest in skincare, Barbara integrates the ancient techniques of facial acupuncture with contemporary skincare principles to help foster physical radiance with a sense of inner vitality and confidence.

Alongside acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, she is trained in classical modalities such as ba guan (cupping), gua sha (skin scraping), tuina (push grasp therapy), facial acupuncture, auricular acupuncture,  electro acupuncture and traditional Chinese nutritional therapy. These may be included when appropriate, as part of your holistic care and treatment.

When not in clinic, you will find Barbara reading the Traditional Chinese Medicine classics, spending time with her family, enjoying the cultural richness of the city, and breathing deeply to cultivate Qi.
